ZCHS Weight Room Information:
The Zionsville High School weight room is a custom and fully outfitted 4,800 sq ft training facility used to accommodate all of ZCHS athletic needs in strength and conditioning. It houses 10 multipurpose weight racks for power lifting and 10 fully outfitted platforms for Olympic lifting. It is also complete with dumbbell racks, cable machines, pl-yo boxes, dip bars, trap bars, and cardio equipment. Athletes have access to a large selection of weightlifting belts, bands, chains, and med balls. It is adjacent to the field house which facilitates dynamic warmups, mobility, speed, and agility development.

Aron Miller was appointed Director of Strength & Conditioning in October 2024, following two years in the same role at Northridge High School. With over a decade of experience in strength and conditioning, Miller has honed his expertise across collegiate, high school, and private sector settings. His career includes stops at Ball State University (graduate assistant), The Citadel (internship), Bethel College (KS), and Manchester University (IN), as well as positions at Oak Hill High School (IN), Mustang High School (OK), and Northridge High School (IN).
In every role, his focus has remained the same: to develop stronger, faster, more powerful, and healthier athletes through a scientific, holistic approach that optimizes performance.
A native of LaGrange, Indiana, Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Manchester University in 2013 and later earned a master’s degree in Sports Performance from Ball State University in 2018. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is CPR/AED certified. Additionally, Miller, along with the Mustang baseball coaching staff, received a Citation of Heroism from the Oklahoma Legislature for saving the life of an athlete who experienced a cardiac event.
Outside of his professional career, Miller has proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves for over 10 years, including a deployment during Operation Inherent Resolve at Al Udeid, Qatar.
Miller resides with his wife, Ashlea, and their two dogs, Cooper and Tampa.
