PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT H :
Principles of Management focuses on the roles and responsibilities of managers as well as the opportunities and challenges of leading ethically in a free enterprise system. This class covers a variety of management concepts based on traditionally accepted management theory and represent practical tools that managers commonly use to meet organizational challenges and objectives. These concepts include team building, leadership, problem solving, management roles, and planning. Student will be introduced to many possible situations that managers frequently handle using a variety of tools including simulations, projects, oral presentations, case studies, and cooperative learning.

Principles of Management provides opportunity to earn dual credit through Ivy Tech Community College. Though this course is open to 10-12 graders, students must be at least a junior to earn dual credit. Additionally, students must take the course for the full year, receive a “C” average or above in both semesters. Please contact the Business Department Chair or your counselor for more details.
