Advanced Science - Anatomy & Physiology
ADVANCED SCIENCE - ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY: is a study of the human body and its functions. The course begins with the body at the cellular level and then proceeds to study the human body through all of its various systems. Throughout the course, dissection of various organs from chickens, sheep, pigs, and cows will be performed. Lab experiments involving measurement of the student's own body functions will also be done (for example, measuring lung capacity, heart rate, etc.) This course is designed to be very similar to a college anatomy course and is a great foundation for nursing, pharmacy, medicine, physical therapy or occupational therapy
