Anthropology

ANTHROPOLOGY:  This one semester course gives students perspectives concerning patterns of culture among people. The course introduces the anthropologist’s processes of observing and analyzing human behavior. Topics studied include (1) theories and principles of cultural formation, growth, function, and change; (2) the relationship of culture to environment; (3) the relationship between cultural background and behavior, and (4) the study of ethnic  and racial groups
