Head Coach: Bessena Cabe

Bessena Cabe is a long-time volleyball player, USAV CAP-1 certified coach, and club director. Originally from Cambridge, MA, Coach Cabe was introduced to the game of volleyball in Middle School, played D-I at Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School, participated in many off season USAV HP clubs and camps, to eventually D-III at Union College as Libero & Defensive Specialist. Following his collegiate career, Coach Cabe became the head volleyball coach for seven seasons at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School in Lenox, MA. Throughout his tenure at Lenox, he improved the program and led the team into five straight Divisional Semifinals from 2015 to 2019 with a total career accumulated record of 146-29.


Concurrently, Coach Cabe was the founder and club director of the Berkshire County Girls Volleyball Club for five years. From there, he coached the in-house development team, 15U, 16U, and 18U level and have let each team to many major tournament wins including the Boston Qualifier, the New England Winterfest, and the Northeast Qualifier. Starting from the inception of the club to the end of his 5th year, the club exponentially grew from two teams to well over eight teams and continues to grow and serve as a great feeders program to many of the local high schools in that community.


Coach Cabe moved to Indy in November 2019 to work for Eli Lilly as a Design Engineering Lead and is currently the assistant coach of the elite 15-1 Adidas at the Academy Volleyball Club. He is also a certified official of the sport and have officiated an many club tournaments.


In addition to playing volleyball, Coach Cabe enjoys cycling, hiking, trail running, kayaking, and physical strength training.
