Head Coach - Shae Lakins

Head Coach Shae Lakins joined the ZCHS coaching staff in 2023 as an assistant coach and made an immediate impact. She played a pivotal role in launching the school's first-ever competition team, helping guide it to remarkable success in its inaugural season. The team made it to the Semi-Finals Round of Nationals in Orlando, Fla.

Coach Lakins has over 20 years of cheerleading and coaching experience. She began coaching in 
high school while balancing her own rigorous schedule of academics, school sideline cheer, competitive cheer and all-star cheerleading. Following a successful collegiate cheerleading career, she continued coaching at various all-star gyms and high schools across the country, all while supporting her husband’s military career.
