Baseball Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Jered Moore

Prior to becoming head coach, Coach Moore spend three years as the head varsity assistant at ZCHS. In addition to coaching the Eagles, he has been a coach with the Indiana Bulls for over 15 years. During this time Coach Moore has been the head coach for the 14, 15, 16 and 17 year-old Bulls teams, winning one national championship and finishing runner-up twice. While with the Bulls, he has coached over 140 players who have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional level, including five players who are currently playing for major league teams.

Coach Moore is a graduate of Brownsburg High School and Sam Houston State University, where he played four years of baseball. He is married to Michelle, and has two daughters, Macy and Avery, and a son, Davis.

Varsity Assistant Coach - Drew Koning

Drew is a native of Lafayette, Ind. where he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 2009. He graduated from Franklin College in 2013 with an Elementary Education degree, where he also played collegiate football. He currently teaches third grade in Brownsburg. Entering his 5th season as a Varsity Assistant at ZCHS, Drew coaches with the Indiana Bulls in the summer and is president of the Zionsville Baseball Club. He resides in Indianapolis.
