Weight Room
ZCHS Weight Room
The Zionsville High School weight room is a state-of-the-art, 4,800 sq. ft. performance facility designed to meet the training needs of every ZCHS athlete. Equipped with 10 multipurpose power racks and 10 fully outfitted Olympic lifting platforms with landmine attachments, the space supports a wide range of strength and functional movement training. Additional features include dumbbell racks, cable machines, dip bars, Olympic and multi-purpose barbells, prowlers, sleds, and cardio equipment. Athletes also have access to an extensive collection of training tools—such as weightlifting belts, resistance bands, chains, and medicine balls—that allow for diverse and individualized programming.
Connected directly to the weight room is the fieldhouse, a versatile training space dedicated to athletic movement development. Here, athletes train for speed, agility, change of direction, sprint mechanics, plyometrics, and mobility—ensuring comprehensive preparation for the physical demands of competition. Together, these facilities create a complete, integrated training environment.
Beyond the equipment, the foundation of our program rests on three core values: discipline, effort, and teamwork. These principles are emphasized in every session, with the goal of extending them far beyond the weight room—into the classroom, into competition, and into life. Our mission is simple but powerful: to enhance, equip, and empower ZCHS athletes to reach their highest potential, both on and off the field.
