Greg Kirkham

Greg Kirkham has been a school counselor at ZCHS since 2004 after teaching social studies for many years. Greg earned his M.S. in Education from Indiana University and his Bachelor of Science from Ball State University. Greg and his wife, Jane, have two sons. Cory graduated from ZCHS in 2009 and Josh graduated in 2014.
 
 
Ellen Shertzer
 
Ellen Shertzer joined the ZCHS school counseling staff in 2018. Ellen earned a B.A. in Public Communications and Human Relations from Western Illinois University and a M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University. After working in higher education for sixteen years, Ellen returned to graduate school at Butler University where she earned her M.S. in School Counseling. Ellen and her husband, John, love living in Zionsville with their three boys – Jack, Luke and Ben.
 
 
Cassie Petrocelli

Cassie Petrocelli has been with the ZCHS Counseling Department since 2005. Prior to school counseling, Cassie taught language arts. Cassie earned her M.S. in Education and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University. Cassie also has a special education certification from Indiana Wesleyan University. Cassie and her husband, Mike, have 4 sons.
 

Steve Polivka

Steve Polivka has been a school counselor at ZCHS since 2012 Steve earned his M.S. in Education from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ball State. Steve and his wife, Brooke, live in Zionsville with their three-year-old son, Ben and their dog and cat.
 
 
Kristen Pache

Kristen Pache came to Zionsville Schools in 2003 as a counselor at ZMS. After 8 years there, she moved over to the high school. Prior to coming to Zionsville, she was a middle school science teacher at St. Matthew School. Kristen earned her M.S. in Education and her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. Kristen enjoys being outside by the fire pit enjoying time with her husband, Chris, three step-daughters, Jane, Maggie, and Beatrice, and her three adorable dogs, Emmie, Rudy and Yoshi.
 
 
Kaylee Miller

Kaylee Miller came to ZCHS in 2016. Kaylee earned her M.A. in Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ball State University. She and her husband, Derek, have their hands full with one-year-old Parker and their dog, Kenai. In their spare time they love camping as a family.
 
 
Cathy Patane

Cathy Patane joined the counseling department as the new College and Career Transition Coordinator and Department Chair in 2018. She has over 23 years of experience as a teacher in middle and high school as well as being a counselor. She and her husband Dan have 3 children ranging from 11 to 18 years old, and two dogs named Kai’a and Sadie. In their spare time they enjoy watching sports, traveling to the beach, and spending time with extended family.
 
 
Cindy Bolander

Cindy joined ZCHS in 2016 after being a stay at home mom for 22 years. Brendan graduated from DePauw University with a B.A. in Economics. Megan will graduate with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marquette University in May. Nicholas is a junior Business Major at Xavier University. Cindy earned her B.A. in Psychology from DePauw University and did doctoral work in Education Psychology at Indiana University. She enjoys spending time with her children, walking, and reading.
