Description
The ZCHS Speech Team is open to all students, grades 9-12. Our goal is to develop confident student speakers capable of competing at the local and state level. The practice schedule varies depending on the number of events and the level of the student's ability, but typically includes two per week. The Speech Team begins preparing in September and finishes competing in March. Tournaments take the entire day on Saturdays. ZCHS competes in approximately five regional tournaments and at State. We are members of the National Forensics League and the Indiana High School Forensics Association.
